Chris is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who worked in higher education for two decades before beginning a second career in psychotherapy. To that end she pursued a Master’s degree in Pastoral Theology/Counseling from Boston College, post-master’s certification in Spirituality and Spiritual Direction, and a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College (MSPP). As a psychologist, she has worked with adults across the lifespan (college age to seniors) in community health, university, and private practice settings. Chris enjoys helping people better understand and access their spirituality (faith-based or other) as a positive resource for their mental health and wellbeing. Her approach to therapy is rooted in a belief that people have an innate capacity to heal and grow at any age and stage of life, and this process best happens in the context of nurturing and supportive relationships.
